Different Shoe, Different Look

We all know that the shoe is the soul of any woman’s wardrobe, and here you can see just how a different shoe can completely change the look of one outfit.
My favourite, is the Gunmetal 3.1 Phillip Lim Quinn Loafers for a polished casual look, that you can take day to night.

My Pick

I absolutely love this dress from Lanvin. Keep it simple with nude heel and minimal jewellery, a statement ring like this one from Saint Laurent will do the perfect job and an on trend Perspex clutch, well that’s just the cherry on the cake!

FashionWatching (once again)

Hi Everyone! long time no see, however I’m back and I’m back this time for good with plenty of my style, street style and lots of pictures that will allow you to get the best of FashionWatching.
I wanted to start off with something very simple to get me back into the swing of things so I joined as a Polyvore contributor, which basically allows me to make wish lists, style picks and create outfits such as the below. As a personal shopper I spend a lot of my time really dressed up to make a good impression on my clients so on my days off I am a big fan of a good jeans and T combination. Here I’ve paired it with some Saint Laurent heels to make a more grown up casual-chic look. As for the piece de resistance, a bright blue Celine mini luggage to add a pop of colour. Sundays best.

Take a stroll down Avenue 32

Over the last couple years I have really come to rely on online shopping as my main form of retail therapy. Being too busy with work during the week and not wanting the stressful experience that is weekend shopping, I instead sit in the luxury of my own home and browse the web for my latest wardrobe additions. No hassle, no crowds, no queue’s for the fitting room and access to all the latest fashion as well some of the best prices. This all means that I got overwhelmingly excited when I came across Avenue32 with its impressive collection of exciting emerging designers coupled with the most sought after established designer pieces. Over the last 2 years Avenue32 has become one of the most talked about luxury shopping websites and has been featured in some of the most prestigious editorial, it’s very easy to see why Vogue UK voted it the 2nd best online retailer.

Here is my Avenue32 wish list, take a browse yourself and you’ll see why I am so in love with it.

Come back to VFNO

It has been quite a while since FashionWatching last saw a new blog and what better way to come back then with Vogue’s Fashion Nights Out.

I have never been one to shy away from a bit of shopping so when I finished working last Thursday I was more than ready for what Bond Street had to offer. Or so I thought, but I found that I wasn’t quite prepared for what VFNO had to offer this year and it wasn’t the new collections that had my attention but the carnival like feeling of the whole event. With a swing band and dancers taking centre bond street, Burlesque dancers dressed in not much else but feathers, food and drinks outside every store and an my favourite part the old air stream bus come traveling hair salon which had a que to rival that outside the McQueen shop, of girls desperate to sort out their ‘just finished work and it’s nearly fashion week’ hair. The fashion parade didn’t stop at the designers and celebrities the waiting crowds outside each store were all dressed to impressed, some extravagantly, some in their latest pret-a-porter and others still holding onto the sunshine with the best of summer fashion. Awestruck by all the commotion I even forgot to shop before I had to run to a dinner. Oh well there’s always another time.

Picked Eye Candy

With the recent weather it may seem strange to be thinking about sunglasses. Sun or not I can not wait to shield my peepers with a pair of these film noir inspired Miu Miu shades.

My Must Have Pick!

When the lovely Brigitte from Juicy Couture took me under her wing to show me around their new collection for Fall 2012, I couldn’t take my eye off these floral patterned, Covent Garden Pansies jeans. Pair them with one of the brightly coloured Sloane Blouses and bring some summer into fall. Or be brave and pair it with the matching jacket just like in the collection’s lookbook.
